Ingredients

  • 1 kg Paneer (cut in 2 cm cubes)
  • 2 red bell pepper (cut in square chunks)
  • 2 Green bell pepper (cut in square chunks)
  • 2 Onions (cut in chunks)

Marinade Ingredients

  • 500 gms or 1 pound yogurt (32 oz.)
  • 2 tablespoon red chilli powder (optional)
  • 2 tablespoon dried fenugreek leaves (Kasuri Methi), good to have
  • 2 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 3 teaspoon fennel seeds (optional)
  • 2 teaspoon cumin powder
  • 2 teaspoon coriander powder
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ cup cornflour
  • 2 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste (equal parts ginger and garlic blended to  smooth paste)
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 3 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon cooking oil (any neutral oil)

Instructions

  1. Cut the paneer into cubes.
  2. Cut the onions, red & green bell peppers into squares.
  3. Now make the marinade by combining the marinade ingredients.
  4. Coat the paneer cubes first and then the vegetables. (Don’t mix them together, paneer may break)
  5. Marinate paneer and vegetables for 30 minutes.
  6. Thread through skewers.
  7. Grill 10 minutes or till paneer and veggies are slightly charred.
  8. Serve with condiment of choice.
