Cilantro Chutney is a classic green chutney that can make any dish yummier. Some fresh green herbs and some simple spices and you have a gorgeous and delicious condiment!
- 1 cup mint leaves
- 1 cup cilantro
- 6 garlic pods
- 1 green chili
- 1 tomato roughly chopped
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 cup water
- Bring all the mentioned ingredients together in a blender and grind to a fine paste.
- If you need a bit more water pour a little at a time as you don’t want the chutney too watery.
- Check the salt and add more if needed.
Add a sweetener ( sugar or monk fruit sugar) to add a pleasant light sweetness to the chutney.
Add 1/4 cup yogurt (regular or vegan) to the chutney to make it creamy and milder.
